Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum

The Memorial honors the victims, survivors, rescuers and all who were changed forever on April 19, 1995. It encompases the now-sacred soil where the Murrah Federal Building once stood, capturing and preserving forever the place and events that changed the world.

The Memorial consists of a 3.3 acre Outdoor Symbolic Memorial and interactive learning Museum that takes the visitor on a chronological, self-guided tour through the story of April 19, 1995, and the days, weeks and years that followed the bombing of Oklahoma City's Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building.

The Memorial is an accredited member of the American Association of Museums (AAM) and the Oklahoma Museums Association (OMA).

The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum is a private non-profit organization, and does not receive any annual operating funds from the federal, state or local government. Museum admissions, store sales, the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon, earnings from an endowment and private fundraising allow the Memorial and Museum to be self-sustaining.
